I'm James. Welcome! My journey into the world of asset recovery began in 2020, when I was first introduced to the business by a real estate investor friend and her attorney. Seeing the life changing impact this could have on others, I chose to dedicate myself to helping others settle crucial matters - especially those unable to afford an attorney and those at risk of losing their assets forever as a result of tax deed sales. I always remind my clients I am not an attorney, and do not provide legal advice. My services are administrative and clerical in nature, and I enjoy working with lawyers and government agencies across the country in a supportive role. I assist clients with navigating processes related to asset recovery and estate matters. Whether it's unclaimed tax refunds, locating lost heirs, or forgotten assets that require probate (pro se), I'm passionate about making sure no stone is left unturned.

My Story

Before my venture into asset recovery, I worked in film and television. Like many creative professionals, I faced my share of challenges when the pandemic hit. Then came all the strikes and the advent of A.I. Work dried up and I found myself searching for a new path.

One night in August of 2020, I had a dream. In the dream, I was approached by a friend of mine who owned rental property. In this dream, she urgently wanted to discuss a new business opportunity. Two weeks later, it actually came to pass in real life! She introduced me to an attorney who trained me in the realm of surplus funds and tax deed sales. This hands-on experience was a revelation. I knew I could make a real difference in people's lives all across the country.

Today, I remain dedicated to asset recovery for individuals and businesses (ARFIB). I'm proud to help my clients navigate the often-confusing, "red tape" world of unclaimed funds.
